Time for a better world. Before becoming Poincaré's baseline, this sentence was first the vision of its founder, the multi-awarded designer Antoine Savolainen. This aspirational phrase has indeed several meanings. It talks about time first. For a watch brand, time is of course at the center of everything; it is the one that we measure as precisely as possible when we talk about a Swiss luxury watch. But what is this time we are talking about? For Antoine Savolainen, time is relative, the only real luxury when you manage to take advantage of it, a milestone or even a dimension that you aspire to master without ever succeeding.

When we talk about a better world, it is first of all the one we strive to have for our loved ones and ourselves. A world of love and happiness first, then of markers that reflect the efforts made, the work accomplished. But the better world is of course also the one around us, which welcomes us. This world that we must understand, cherish, preserve.

Poincaré therefore had to carry these values and participate on his own scale in this better world. Our watches had to be able to meet your expectations. They were to be the witness of your privileged moments, the time of a lifetime and more. For this, we had to create the best possible watches, combining tradition and an innovative approach. And that's what we've done.

Tradition

The history of Poincaré is part of the long Swiss watchmaking tradition several hundred years old, and more particularly in Geneva watchmaking, so famous. Proud of these origins, Poincaré honors time. What better setting than the shores of Lake Geneva in Geneva, surrounded by the majestic Alps and the watchmaking Jura, to inspire us and allow us to produce the best possible Haute Horlogerie timepieces.

Innovation

The cradle of great avant-garde discoverers, Switzerland has always been at the forefront of high technology and a forerunner of striking innovations. Building a better world has also always been a strong marker for Switzerland; the International Committee of the Red Cross was created there, the UN has its European headquarters there. Faithful to his humanist and responsible values, Poincaré innovates by reconciling two often opposing worlds; luxury and eco-responsibility, for the best of both worlds.

Independence

Our independence is the engine of our freedom. Our main activity is not to make reporting or to know what should be our positioning of offers, in the brand portfolio of a group. This independence allows us to aim for the best in the design or quality of our watches. Independence is a state of mind, an ideal; it is ours and certainly yours as well.

Exclusivity

We do not produce hundreds thousands of watches per year, or even tens thousands. Our annual production of hundreds pieces brings rarity and exclusivity to your future timepiece. This choice of controlled production also allows us not to compromise. All our watches are therefore meticulously produced, finished and assembled by hand, then checked one by one, before undergoing a series of stringent final tests.

Responsibility

The world in which we live must make us aware of the marvels and benefits it brings us, but also of the notable changes that have been occurring over several decades. It is the responsibility of all of us to be aware of this and to preserve it as best we can. In our view, this should not be done in a spirit of guilt, but, on the contrary, of openness and constructive and effective action. We take our share of responsibility by financing through our sales, concrete humanitarian and sustainable projects on the field around the world. Each owner of a Poincaré thus participates directly in a better world.
